What does it mean to have hope in Christ? The very word could cause us some confusion. In our vernacular, the word "hope" is used synonymously with the word "wish". I means we hope it happens, but we're not sure it will. The word translated as "hope" in the Bible carries no such connotation. The Biblical word for hope means we can be sure that it will happen. That is an important distinction. These verses tell us that God is the "God of hope". But what does that mean? How is that hope manifested? How is it not manifested? What does it really mean to hope in Him? Join us as we answer these and other questions.
