What does it mean to be a member of a church?
The purpose church membership is to include – not isolate – men, women and children in their pursuit of fulfilling our mission and biblical purposes. Church membership is a wonderful opportunity to become part of a church family and we believe that the most important and valuable way to get involved at Harmony Community Church is through membership.

What is required in order to become a church member?
Becoming a member is a simple process and only requires that you:

  1. Are a professing believer in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior.
  2. Have been baptized after your salvation as a public profession of your faith.
  3. Have attended a new members class.New members classes provide a casual opportunity to fellowship with Pastor Mike, learn a little more about the church, and find out what being a member of a church is all about.

Look to the calendar items to the right for baptism service and new members class dates.

Children 17 and under whose parents or guardian are members are automatically viewed as members. Upon turning 18, a person must pursue church membership him- or herself by qualifying for the requirements above.
