ADVENT:WEEK ONE
HOPE
1 Peter 1:10-12
Once again we have entered the season of advent. The word advent literally means "arrival". So it is appropriate that we spend the next four weeks focusing on the anticipation of the celebration of the arrival of Jesus...the Incarnation...God with us. The first week focuses on hope with special attention paid to the OT prophets who spoke of the Messiah's eventual arrival and the agents of that hope. But what it mean to hope? Does it mean the same thing we mean when we say we hope something happens? Who are the agents God used to perpetuate this hope? Join us as we learn the answers to these and other vital questions.
